House featuring Hanson roof tile and brick honored for curb appeal
- Greater San Antonio Parade of Homes bestows Best Front Elevation Award on Cibolo Canyons home designed and built by Don Craighead Homes
Hanson Brick & Tile products contributed to the Old World appearance that garnered the Best Front Elevation Award for a home created by Don Craighead Homes for the Greater San Antonio Builders Association Parade of Homes.
The 5,100-square-foot home, built in the French Country style, features Hanson Roof Tile's Olde World Slate in three color blends--Cobblestone, Oakwood and Riverrock--installed in a staggered pattern and Hanson Brick's limestone brick product, Ashlar in Buff and Original colors.
"The color variation and staggered installation of the roof tile enabled us to avoid uniform lines and achieve an authentic slate appearance," said Marc Fortson of Don Craighead Homes. "The Ashlar cladding gave us something that looked like aged stone with some variation in the size and color."
