Hanson Brick & Tile adds manufactured stone to its product line to offer one-stop shopping for exterior cladding in the Carolinas

Hanson Brick & Tile has added manufactured stone to its Carolina Collection offering builders and architects in the Southeast a one-stop shop for exterior cladding needs.

"Many people have discovered the beautiful designs that can be created by combining brick and stone masonry on homes, producing a unique appearance that differentiates a home from its neighbors and offers lasting curb appeal," said Greg Snowman, marketing manager with Hanson Brick. Hanson's East Stone Collection comes in five styles, including:

• Ledgestone Series - Long, flat shapes designed for a horizontal application creates an irregular, aged appearance of natural stone, with great variances in size, texture and shape.
• 19th Century Series - A variety of rectangular and square shapes inspired by Colonial architecture makes for a timeless feel. The unique size and texture allow for both traditional and contemporary applications.
• Handcrafted Series - A combination of rectangular shapes, similar to Ledgestone, make for a more symmetric design that simplifies installation.
• Olde World Series - A mix of Ledgestone, Handcrafted and 19th Century for unique patterns.
• Fieldstone Series - Irregular shapes and textures reflect the rustic beauty found in the architecture of the English Countryside or a Mountain Villa.

All series are available in 10 color blends from the dark and light grays of Misty Mountain, Bluegrass, Hermitage, Timberwood and Smoke, to taupe and warm browns of Summertown, Mossy Creek, Earth Blend, Valley Forge and Westchester.

Hanson also has stone accessories, including keystones, trimstones, outlet boxes, light trim, hearthstone, pier caps, wall caps, flat wall caps and watertables/sills, available in Gray, Pewter, Smoke, Suede and Taupe.

To help homeowners envision an even more complete home exterior, Hanson partnered with Sherwin Williams and their staff colorist to choose cool and warm paint color combinations that coordinate with Hanson's brick and stone selections. The collaboration resulted in the creation of palette cards, which offer suggestions coordinating paint colors with brick, stone accents and roof tile styles.
