Hanson Brick adds clay brick pavers to its Carolina Collection

CHARLOTTE, NC, July 15, 2008

• New pavers are ideal for backyard patios, concrete slab conversion

Hanson Brick, North America's leading brick manufacturer, has added clay brick pavers to its Carolina Collection, giving homeowners an elegant design solution for yards and patios.

The pavers come in two styles: Old European, a brown brick that is flashed to give it light and dark color variations, and Terrace Blend, a red brick that is flashed to create a mix of red to dark gray color variations.

"Perfect for garden paths or patios, our new pavers are easy to install and have a classic appearance," said Chester Lewis, vice president of direct sales for Hanson Brick. "With more people looking for do-it-yourself home and yard renovation projects we decided that brick pavers would be a perfect addition to our brick cladding product line."

Hanson's pavers, which measure 4 inches wide by 8 inches long by 1 5/8 inch thick, are designed to be installed using the dry-laid method that utilizes sand to lock the pavers in place and are easily installed over existing concrete slabs.

The new pavers are available at all Hanson direct yards and dealers located in the Carolinas.
